About the experience
The Stage 1 & 2 Digital Technologies SACE Package is delivered by inclusive tech school, 42 Adelaide. With access to the first-class facilities and a purpose designed learning environment offered at the 42 Adelaide Campus, students will learn to code in JavaScript, HTML, CSS to build basic websites. Students will learn the most in demand skills, including data & cyber setting them up for a career in tech.
Open to years 10, 11 and 12, students will access this program through project-based learning with a focus on peer-to-peer learning and assessment within an adaptable, interactive and cooperative learning environment
Peer to Peer gamification learning model
The curriculum is specially designed and constantly updated to ensure we use the most up to date and industry relevant content and topics. Each project is a more complex with new techniques and skills developed to keep up motivation and progression.
Peer to peer learning enables the students to discover different ways of doing things including different approaches to the same problem. Being able to communicate with others about what software requirements actually mean is a great skill to develop for their future.

Stage breakdown
Week one
DISCOVERY PISCINE
The students are introduced to the terminal & shell with an introduction to HTML / CSS & JavaScript.
Week two
AI & MACHINE LEARNING
Learn about Linear Regression and how represent data with the cloud-based visualisation tools in Python programming language.
Week three
CYBER SECURITY
Explore multiple vulnerabilities in web and learn how to detect them.
Discover the benefits of ethical coding and data protection.
Week four
MAJOR PROJECT (30HOURS)
Use all the skills learnt throughout the previous 3 weeks to develop and host a protected website.
